Job Description
The firm is seeking a hard-working, responsible, detail-oriented, organized, and ethical Paralegal with experience in probate and elder law. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of probate experience. Applicants should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, work well with others, and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications such as Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel. Knowledge of the Tabs/PracticeMaster database is a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience, and the firm offers benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Primary Job Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients, potential clients, attorneys, vendors, professionals, and both in-house and external parties regarding various matters as needed, using phone, email, text, fax, and written correspondence.
- Provide essential legal support to attorneys and clients.
- Assist with drafting and responding to pleadings, documents, and correspondence.
- File pleadings with the court clerk in Arizona, either electronically or by courier.
- Demonstrate knowledge of court statutes, rules, and any changes to those rules.
- Conduct research to support legal documents and proceedings.
- Handle and safeguard confidential records professionally and responsibly.
- Track and organize activities using the practice management software.
- Create, maintain, and update documents efficiently and proficiently using computer programs such as Word, Excel, PracticeMaster, and others.
- Calendar appointments, docket court matters, manage case deadlines, and ensure all deadlines are tracked and met.
